Assistant Operations Manager
The Assistant Operations Manager has fully operational, fiscal, and human resource responsibility for the entire facility in conjunction with the different Operations Managers. Flexibility in schedule is required.
Responsibilities
Ensures consistent implementation of standard safety and Inflight objectives
Work with Operations Manager and Management to determine root cause of operational disruptions, asset damage incidents and share lessons learned
Provides support to the Operations Managers in supervising all areas of the operation within the organization
Identify changes required to improve future operational performance and make recommendations for operation efficiency.
Develop and support standard work and continuous improvement processes with the Branch Managers
Assist management in developing and communicating overall business strategy
In the absence of a department managers, maintain relationships with Branch Managers and Associates to fulfill operational need.
Assist Branch Manager with injury/incident reports in conjunction with safety representative as needed.
Bring up to management’s attention any concerns and recommendations to such concerns
Assist in Process Improvement Projects, Root Cause Analysis methodologies, and process flow mapping.
Able to work in a fast-paced continuous retail environment, across multiple shifts and willing to work weekends, holidays and nights
Good knowledge of safety standards.
Good ability with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of lean retail principles and operational processes.
Aptitude in showing self-initiative and follow-through.
Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed per BM Farms & Trading Limited and client’s requirements.
Motivate and inspire team members to perform above expectations through proper recognition methods and programs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field preferred
Master’s degree preferred, but not required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position, preferably in management,
Minimum 2 years’ experience in leadership roles overseeing multiple non-exempt employees

Salary: 15,000 to 20,000 per year
